This Grantseeker platform review covers Grantseeker, the grant tracking product that rejoined Fluxx Labs as a business unit effective November 7, 2025 (Grantseeker, November 2025), and the way Fluxx now sells it as Fluxx Grantseeker. It is built for organizations managing grants they have already won, not for finding new funders first.
The product comes in two forms, Grantseeker Classic and Grantseeker Pro, and the published prices are easy to mix up. The prices and features in this review come from the vendor's own pages, read in September and October 2026, with each price tied to the plan it belongs to.
Quick Answer: What Is the Grantseeker Platform and What Does It Cost?
Grantseeker is a grant tracking platform for nonprofits, higher education and public agencies, owned by Fluxx since November 7, 2025. Classic Premium is $19.99 a month for tracking with unlimited users, Classic Prospecting is $51.99 and adds funder research, Pro uses formula pricing, and Fluxx says Grantseeker starts at $6,000 a year (vendor pages, October 2026).
What the Grantseeker Platform Is
The Grantseeker platform is grant tracking software for organizations that receive grants: it holds deadlines, budgets, reports, documents and team responsibilities for each award in one place (Fluxx Grantseeker product page, October 2026). Fluxx draws the line itself: "Grant tracking software helps organizations manage active grants," while grant management software "is a broader category that may include both grantseeking and grantmaking workflows" (Fluxx Grantseeker product page, September 2026).
The history explains the two brands. Grantseeker's own letter says the product "originally began its life as a product line inside of Fluxx, from 2016 through April 2023 when it was spun out into Fluxx Labs, Inc.," with Fluxx remaining "a minority investor" (Grantseeker, letter dated November 12, 2025). Fluxx announced in November 2025 that "Grantseeker has officially joined the Fluxx family," effective November 7, 2025 (Fluxx and Grantseeker announcements, November 12, 2025).
For existing customers, the letter says "all accounts and contracts will remain the same (both Grantseeker Pro and Grantseeker Classic)" and that "100% of the team is coming over to Fluxx" (Grantseeker, letter dated November 12, 2025). The grantseeker.io site still runs separate logins for Pro and Classic under a Fluxx Labs copyright (grantseeker.io, October 2026).
Do not confuse it with Fluxx Grantmaker. Fluxx describes Grantmaker as software "used by foundations and government agencies to manage the full grant lifecycle, including applications, reviews, approvals, payments, compliance, reporting, and impact measurement" (Fluxx Grantmaker product page, September 2026). That is the funder side. Grantseeker is the applicant side, and Fluxx says an organization that does both can add Grantmaker later (Fluxx Grantseeker product page, October 2026).
Independent reviews exist but need reading with care. Capterra's UK listing rates GRANTSEEKER 4.3 based on 146 reviews, with 87 percent positive sentiment (Capterra UK listing, October 2026). That score covers the product's whole history under its earlier owners and plans, so it says more about the tracking core than about Classic or Pro as sold today.
Fluxx for Nonprofits: Grant Management With Grantseeker
Fluxx for nonprofits means Fluxx Grantseeker, which Fluxx says "is best suited for nonprofits, higher education institutions, and public sector organizations" with 10 to 50 or more active grants, "where deadlines, reporting, budgets, and coordination across departments are becoming harder to manage" (Fluxx Grantseeker product page FAQ, October 2026). Below that volume, a spreadsheet may still be enough.
Fluxx's product page organizes the offer into four promises, in its own words.
Source: Fluxx Grantseeker product page, read October 2026.
The product page also says reporting and compliance are "supported by a dedicated compliance tool," and that most organizations can implement it in about one to two weeks (Fluxx Grantseeker product page FAQ, October 2026). Treat the implementation time as the vendor's estimate, not a promise.
The schedule problem it targets is real. One commenter described the core of the work as "a grant isn't one deadline, it's a repeating schedule of reports per award" (Reddit thread 1vydvxu, read September 2026). A tracker for awarded grants earns its keep by holding that schedule, and Fluxx frames Grantseeker around exactly that: "Fluxx Grantseeker helps you manage the grants you receive today" (Fluxx Grantseeker product page, September 2026).
For federal awards, the record a tracker holds has a legal floor. Financial management systems must provide "Comparison of expenditures with budget amounts for each Federal award" (2 CFR 200.302(b)(5), eCFR, current as of September 2026). Our post-award grant management checklist lists what to set up when an award arrives, whatever tool you use.

Grantseeker Plans and Prices
Grantseeker publishes three plans on grantseeker.io, and Fluxx publishes a separate starting price on fluxx.io; the four figures describe different offerings and should never be merged into one price (Grantseeker and Fluxx pricing pages, October 2026).
Sources: Grantseeker pricing, Classic and Pro pages, and Fluxx demo page FAQ, all read October 2026.
Two cautions apply. First, the billing term on the Classic prices is unclear. The pricing page shows $19.99 and $51.99 under its default "Monthly" switch with the note "Save up to 25% with annual billing," while the Classic product page labels the same figures "Billed annually (save up to 25%)" (Grantseeker pricing and Classic pages, October 2026). Confirm the term at checkout before you budget for a year.
Second, the $6,000 figure does not say which plan it covers. Fluxx's FAQ reads "Grantmaker starting at $13,000 per year plus a one-time setup fee, and Grantseeker starting at $6,000 per year" (Fluxx demo page FAQ, October 2026). Neither page ties it to Classic or Pro, so ask for a written quote that names the plan.
"All plans include a 14-day free trial," according to the pricing page (Grantseeker pricing page, October 2026). For how these prices compare with research databases and other trackers, see our grant database pricing comparison.
Grantseeker Classic vs Pro: Which Suits Your Organization
Grantseeker Classic suits small and mid-sized organizations managing under $1M in grants, and Pro suits governments, large nonprofits and multi-department organizations managing $1M or more with formal compliance needs, by the vendor's own lines (Grantseeker Classic and Pro pages, October 2026).
Sources: Grantseeker Classic and Pro platform pages, read October 2026.
Both plans include unlimited users. The Classic page says "No per-user pricing. Invite your entire team," and the Pro page says "Unlimited users included" (Grantseeker Classic and Pro pages, October 2026). A ten-person grants and finance group pays the same Classic price as a two-person office.
Pro's other differences matter mostly to consultants and multi-entity organizations. Its multi-account architecture lets one user identity manage several accounts, which the Pro page pitches at "consultants, grant writers, or organizations with multiple entities," and its budgets roll up from programs to an organizational budget aligned to a chart of accounts (Grantseeker Pro page, October 2026). The Classic pages list program budgets but not multi-account management or chart of accounts integration.
Pro's $1M line is about the grant volume an organization manages (Grantseeker Pro page, October 2026). It is not the federal single audit test, which applies when an entity "expends $1,000,000 or more during the non-Federal entity's fiscal year in Federal awards" (2 CFR 200.501(a), eCFR, current as of September 2026). An organization near either line should read Pro's compliance features against its own audit obligations.
The Classic page also claims Classic is "inspired by the needs of 150,000+ nonprofits" (Grantseeker Classic page, October 2026). That is marketing, not a customer count. For the general case for and against tracking tools at different sizes, our guide to grant management software for nonprofits covers the wider field.

How Grantseeker Differs From a Grant Research Database
Grantseeker starts from the grants you already have and sells funder research as an add-on plan, while research-led platforms start from a funder database and bundle tracking into every plan (Grantseeker pricing page, October 2026; Instrumentl pricing page, September 2026). The choice depends on which half of the work costs you more time.
Sources: Grantseeker pricing page (October 2026); Instrumentl pricing page (read October 2026).
That split answers an objection to bundled tools raised in two separate threads, in the same words: "you'd be paying for the prospecting half you said you don't need" (Reddit threads 1vydvxu and 1wiivcd, read September 2026). Grantseeker Classic Premium is a published plan that sells tracking with no funder search attached. The reverse also holds: if finding funders is your bottleneck, Premium alone will not help, and Prospecting or a research tool will.
GrantCue takes the bundled route: Grants.gov search, a kanban pipeline, an ICS calendar feed and simple email reminders come on every plan, Free included. Unlike Grantseeker's unlimited users, its plans are sized by seats and active opportunities: Free covers 1 user and up to 10 active opportunities, Essentials at $49 a month up to 3 users and 75, and Team at $109 a month up to 8 users and 250, with "post-award lite" budget versus actuals (grantcue.com, September 2026). The GrantCue pricing page lists every limit.
Grantseeker Platform Review: Strengths and Gaps
The Grantseeker platform's strengths are a low published entry price, unlimited users on every plan, a tracking-first design and, on Pro, compliance features aimed at public agencies; its gaps are a price you cannot pin down from the public pages and independent reviews that predate the current plans (Grantseeker and Fluxx pages, October 2026).
Strengths, from the published pages:
- Classic Premium at $19.99 a month with unlimited users is a low entry point next to research-led platforms such as Instrumentl Discover at $299 a month paid annually (Grantseeker pricing page, October 2026; Instrumentl pricing page, September 2026).
- Unlimited users on Classic and Pro remove the seat arithmetic that shapes most software budgets.
- Report series, timelines and program budgets are listed on Classic Premium, which fits the schedule-of-reports shape of awarded grants.
- Pro lists SEFA reporting, compliance checklists, chart of accounts integration and an OpenAPI v3 developer API for organizations with formal finance systems.
Gaps to check before you buy:
- The billing term behind the Classic prices differs between two vendor pages, so a yearly budget needs a written confirmation.
- Pro and the Fluxx $6,000 floor have no published plan-by-plan price; expect a quote scaled to grant volume (Fluxx demo page FAQ, October 2026).
- The 4.3 Capterra rating from 146 reviews covers the product's whole history, not the current Classic and Pro plans separately (Capterra UK listing, October 2026).
- Grantseeker is a tracker first. Classic Premium carries no funder search, so pair it with a research tool if discovery is your weak point.
The change of owner is the other thing to watch. The re-acquisition letter promises unchanged accounts and contracts (Grantseeker, letter dated November 12, 2025), but plan names and prices can move after a merger, so date any quote you receive. Our guide to grants lifecycle management sets out which stages a tracker needs to cover before you commit to one.

FAQ
Is Grantseeker free?
No. Grantseeker's current pricing page lists only paid plans: Classic Premium at $19.99 a month, Classic Prospecting at $51.99 a month and Pro by formula pricing, and "All plans include a 14-day free trial" (Grantseeker pricing page, October 2026). The trial is the way to test it at no cost; load real awards so the two weeks show you the reporting schedule.
How much does Grantseeker cost?
Grantseeker lists Classic Premium at $19.99 a month and Classic Prospecting at $51.99 a month, but its pricing page and Classic page disagree on whether those figures are the monthly or the annual rate, so confirm the term at checkout (Grantseeker pricing and Classic pages, October 2026). Grantseeker Pro uses formula pricing scaled to the organization. Separately, Fluxx says "Grantseeker starting at $6,000 per year," without naming a plan (Fluxx demo page FAQ, October 2026).
Who owns Grantseeker?
Fluxx Labs, Inc. Grantseeker began as a product line inside Fluxx from 2016, was spun out in April 2023, and rejoined Fluxx as a business unit effective November 7, 2025, according to Grantseeker's own letter dated November 12, 2025. The letter says Pro and Classic accounts and contracts stay the same.
What is the difference between Grantseeker Classic and Pro?
Classic is for small and mid-sized organizations managing under $1M in grants, at published monthly prices with unlimited users (Grantseeker Classic page, October 2026). Pro is for governments, large nonprofits and multi-department organizations managing $1M or more, with formula pricing, SSO, custom pipeline stages, chart of accounts integration, SEFA reporting and a developer API (Grantseeker Pro page, October 2026).
Does Grantseeker include funder research?
Only on some plans. Classic Premium is grant tracking without funder search. Classic Prospecting adds advanced funder search, funder contribution reports, organization details and 990 data, and giving trend analysis (Grantseeker pricing page, October 2026), and the Pro page lists "Full-Search Prospecting". Choose the plan by whether discovery or tracking is your bigger job.
Is Fluxx Grantseeker the same as Fluxx Grantmaker?
No. Fluxx Grantseeker tracks the grants an organization receives, and Fluxx says it "helps you manage the grants you receive today" (Fluxx Grantseeker product page, October 2026). Fluxx Grantmaker runs grant programs for foundations and government agencies that give money out, starting at $13,000 a year plus a one-time setup fee (Fluxx demo page FAQ, October 2026).
Count Your Active Grants Before You Book a Demo
Before you start a trial or request a Pro quote, count your active grants and add up the grant dollars you manage in a year. Fluxx aims Grantseeker at 10 to 50 or more active grants, and Grantseeker draws its Classic and Pro line at $1M in grants (Fluxx and Grantseeker pages, October 2026).
Then load three real awards into the 14-day trial, each with every report date, the budget by program and the documents you already hold. If the report series and reminders run without help for two weeks, ask for the price in writing, with the plan named and the billing term stated, before you sign.
