GrantHub alternative: what to use now that it is gone
Foundant discontinued GrantHub on January 31, 2026. Here is what each replacement costs and which job it fits, with sources.
The short answer
- GrantHub and GrantHub Pro no longer exist. Access ended on January 31, 2026, so the choice is what replaces them, not whether to renew.
- If you used GrantHub to track grants, deadlines and notes, GrantCue is the closest replacement by job and price: free to start, Essentials at $49 a month, Team at $109. It imports the CSV you exported from GrantHub.
- If you also need to find new funders, Instrumentl is built for that and starts at $299 a month billed annually. See the Instrumentl comparison.
- If you track a handful of grants alone, a spreadsheet is enough.
GrantCue is one of the options, so every outside figure here has a source and a read date at the bottom of the page.

What happened to GrantHub
GrantHub and GrantHub Pro were grant-seeker tools from Foundant Technologies. Both were discontinued by January 31, 2026, a date already public in June 2025, while Foundant kept its grantmaker-side products. Access to GrantHub Pro ended on that date. GrantHub tracked opportunities by status, funder, award amount and deadline, showed a pipeline and calendar, and kept funder notes.
Can you still get your data? If you exported before January 31, your export is the source: opportunities, funder contacts, notes and deadlines. If you did not, ask Foundant directly; we cannot promise they can still retrieve it. Rebuild active grants first, starting with the nearest deadlines.
Which GrantHub alternative fits which job
Where GrantCue is weaker than the other options: it does not match your organization against private foundations or prospect them for you. Its free directory of more than 10,000 foundation profiles lets you look a funder up, and many teams pair GrantCue with a prospecting tool. If funder discovery is your main need, read the Instrumentl comparison.
Moving from GrantHub to GrantCue
Export your records to CSV, create a workspace and upload the file. The importer maps common GrantHub fields, skips duplicates and shows a summary of what was imported.
