About this data
Every U.S. private foundation files a Form 990-PF with the IRS listing the grants it paid. This directory aggregates those public e-filings per foundation. It covers private foundations only (community foundations file Form 990 instead), reflects filings rather than real-time activity, and refreshes weekly as new filings enter the corpus. Foundations below the activity bar for a public page are still searchable inside GrantCue.
