Questions before you start
What happens when the 14-day Team trial ends?
Your workspace moves to the Free plan: 3 AI summaries a month, 1 seat, 10 tracked grants, and the full pipeline, tasks, deadlines and calendar feed. Nothing you saved is deleted. Upgrade any time and everything is already there.
Do I need a card to start?
No. The trial starts the moment your workspace is created and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
Is there a nonprofit discount?
Yes — 25% off any paid plan with the code NONPROFIT at checkout, for nonprofits and state associations, for as long as you subscribe. Essentials comes to $36.75 a month and Team to $81.75. No paperwork; use it when you upgrade.
Can I switch or cancel later?
Monthly and annual plans can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the period.
How much does annual billing save?
Annual billing is cheaper than monthly, by a different amount on each plan: Essentials $39 a month instead of $49 (20% less), Team $89 instead of $109 (18% less) and Organization $189 instead of $229 (17% less). The year is charged up front.
Do I need to be a nonprofit?
No. GrantCue is used by nonprofits, research institutions, SBIR and STTR startups and public-sector teams, and no plan requires 501(c)(3) status. The 25% discount with the code NONPROFIT is for nonprofits and state associations.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes, on annual Essentials, Team, Organization and Enterprise plans. Monthly plans are paid by card. Send a request on the quote page and we will reply with a quote you can take through your own purchasing process.
I am coming from GrantHub — what does migration involve?
If you saved a GrantHub CSV before shutdown, import that file from Settings → Import. Review the field mapping and imported records. If you do not have an export, use Discover or add grants manually. How does GrantCue compare to Instrumentl on price?
