Getting started is easy! Simply sign up for a free account, create your organization, and start discovering grants. You can import existing grants from CSV files or add them individually. Check out our onboarding guide for step-by-step instructions.
GrantCue provides powerful grant discovery tools powered by the Grants.gov API:
- Quick Search: Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to open the quick search modal and find grants instantly

The AI Writing Module is your complete workspace for drafting professional grant proposals:
Getting Started:
- Go to Applications from the main menu
- Click Start New Application and select a grant from your pipeline
- GrantCue creates 7 default sections (Executive Summary, Statement of Need, Goals & Objectives, Project Description, Evaluation Plan, Organizational Background, Sustainability Plan)
AI Writing Tools:
- Generate Draft: Create content from scratch using grant requirements and your org profile
- Refine: Improve clarity, flow, and persuasiveness
- Expand: Add more detail and depth (50-100% longer)
- Condense: Reduce word count while preserving meaning (30-50% shorter)
Inline AI Assistance:
Select any text in the editor to see a floating toolbar with quick actions: Simplify, Elaborate, Make Formal, Rewrite, or Ask AI a custom question.
Content Library:
Store reusable content like mission statements, staff bios, and outcomes data. Search, filter by category, and insert directly into your sections.
Budget Builder:
The Budget section includes a line-item editor. Add items by category (Personnel, Travel, Equipment, etc.), then click "Generate AI Narrative" for professional justification text.
Export:
When ready, click Export to download as a Word document (DOCX) with cover page, table of contents, and all sections formatted for submission.

You can choose between monthly or annual billing. Annual plans save you 20% compared to monthly billing. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time with no penalties. Manage your subscription from Settings → Billing.
