Our Story

Where It All Started

GrantCue started with a simple observation: the communities with the greatest need for grant funding are often the ones with the fewest resources to find it.

In Clinton County, Pennsylvania — a rural community of about 37,000 people — nonprofits, municipalities, and small organizations do incredible work every day. They build beds for kids who don't have them. They keep volunteer fire departments running. They maintain parks, feed families, and hold the fabric of the community together.

But when it comes to finding and securing the funding that keeps those efforts alive, they're often stuck with the same broken process: manually searching federal databases, forwarding grant links over email, writing proposals from scratch, and hoping for the best.

The gap we saw

Larger organizations in bigger metros have dedicated grant writers, expensive software, and entire teams focused on funding strategy. Rural communities get by on determination and late nights.

What we built

A platform that brings modern grant discovery, tracking, and collaboration tools to the organizations that have always been underserved — not as a stripped-down free tier, but as a genuinely useful tool designed for how small teams actually work.

What drives us

We believe that when funding reaches the right hands, entire communities benefit. And we're building the infrastructure to make that happen.

Our Values

What We Believe

Access Over Advantage

The organizations doing the most critical work in their communities shouldn't be at a disadvantage when competing for funding. Grant tools should lower the barrier to entry, not raise it. Every feature we build is measured against a simple question: does this help a five-person nonprofit compete with a fifty-person one?

Built for Real Teams

Most grant platforms are designed for large institutions with dedicated development offices. We design for the executive director who's also the grant writer, the bookkeeper, and the volunteer coordinator. Our tools meet teams where they are — not where enterprise software vendors wish they were.

Community First

We didn't start GrantCue to serve an abstract market. We started it because we live in the kind of community that needs it. That means our roadmap is shaped by real conversations with real organizations — not growth metrics or investor decks. If a feature helps a local food bank secure funding, it goes to the top of the list.

Our Team

Who We Are

GrantCue is built by a small team with deep roots in rural Pennsylvania. We're not backed by Silicon Valley or driven by growth-at-all-costs metrics. We're funded by the belief that better tools can unlock real impact for underserved communities.

Community-Rooted

Headquartered in Clinton County, PA. We build for the communities we live in.

Builder-Operated

The people who build the product talk directly to the people who use it. No layers of bureaucracy.

Mission-Driven

Every decision is filtered through one question: does this help small organizations win more funding?

What We Do

The Full Grant Lifecycle

GrantCue covers every stage — from the moment an opportunity is published to the day you submit your final report.

Discover

Find funding you'd never find on your own.

We aggregate grant opportunities from federal, state, and private sources and surface the ones that match your organization's mission, size, and eligibility. No more combing through Grants.gov for hours or relying on word of mouth. GrantCue brings the right opportunities to you — automatically.

Track

Never miss a deadline again.

Save opportunities to your pipeline and track them through every stage — from prospect to submitted to awarded. Visual dashboards and timeline views give your entire team a shared picture of where every grant stands, with automated reminders before key deadlines.

Write

Start with structure, not a blank page.

Our AI-assisted writing tools help you draft narratives, budgets, and supporting documents using your organization's own data and past submissions. GrantCue doesn't write your grant for you — it gives you a running start so you can focus on the story only your team can tell.

Collaborate

Get your whole team on the same page.

Assign tasks, share documents, leave comments, and track who's responsible for what — all inside the grant workspace. Whether your team is three people in the same office or a dozen volunteers spread across the county, GrantCue keeps everyone aligned.

Win

Submit with confidence.

Pre-submission checklists, compliance reviews, and requirement matching help you catch errors before the funder does. GrantCue flags missing attachments, incomplete sections, and eligibility mismatches so you can submit knowing the application is complete.

Manage

Winning the grant is only the beginning.

Track award milestones, reporting deadlines, and budget expenditures after the award. GrantCue helps you stay in compliance and build a track record that strengthens every future application.
