Is my data safe during migration?

Your file is read in your browser, and only the grants you choose to import are saved to your workspace. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and the database is backed up daily. You can export your data from GrantCue at any time. The controls are described on the security page.

What fields are imported from GrantHub?

Our importer automatically maps common GrantHub fields: Grant Title, Agency/Funder, Deadline/Due Date, Award Amount, Status/Stage, Notes/Description, and ALN/CFDA Number. The importer intelligently matches column names, so your data transfers correctly even if GrantHub uses different field names.

What if I accidentally import duplicates?

GrantCue's importer includes automatic duplicate detection. Before importing, we check if grants with the same title and agency already exist in your account and skip them automatically. You'll see a summary showing how many grants were imported, skipped, or failed.

How long does migration take?

Most users complete their migration in under 10 minutes. Use the CSV you saved before GrantHub closed. If you have no export, start from a spreadsheet or add opportunities from Discover. Import time depends on the file and review needed.

What if I need help with migration?

Can I migrate if I have a team?

Yes. After importing your grants, you can invite team members to your organization, assign grants to specific people, track who's working on what, and collaborate in real-time. Team features are available on all paid plans.
