Grants for Youth Programs
Youth program grants go to the organizations that serve young people: after-school and summer programs, mentoring, youth development, sports, prevention and job readiness. This page lists that funding, not scholarships or awards to individual young people.
Eligibility usually turns on who runs the program. The federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers program is a common example: the U.S. Department of Education funds state education agencies, which run statewide competitions open to school districts, community-based organizations, tribes, faith-based organizations and other public or private entities. Check the age range a grant serves and whether it requires a school partner.
