Grants for Nonprofits in Maine
Maine has a search tool built for communities: the Maine Community Funding Finder, run by the Maine Office of Community Affairs, gathers state and federal funding opportunities and filters them by eligible applicant and by agency. GrantCue reads its listings for Maine.
The finder says its listings do not replace the funder's own notice, so the request for applications from the agency is the document to work from. The Maine Arts Commission funds artists, arts and cultural organizations, schools and municipalities, and each of its programs has its own application period within the July to June fiscal year.
