Grants for Nonprofits in South Carolina
South Carolina has no central grants list. The Department of Education keeps one page with all of its open grant opportunities, whether federal, state or privately funded, and GrantCue reads it along with the Department of Public Safety's Justice Assistance Grant programs.
Applicants should know two rules. Saved application forms on the education department's system expire after 30 days without a login and cannot be recovered. Several South Carolina Arts Commission grants, including Arts Project Support and School Arts Support, must be submitted at least five weeks before the funded activity begins.
