Grants for Arts and Culture
This page covers grants for arts organizations, museums, cultural and heritage groups, and arts programs run by schools, libraries and local governments. Much public arts money is distributed by state arts agencies and regional arts organizations, which receive Partnership Agreement grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and set their own programs and deadlines.
Many state arts councils also make grants and fellowships to individual artists. GrantCue does not list awards paid only to individuals, so this page shows funding that organizations, schools and public bodies can apply for. Check whether a program requires nonprofit status, accepts a fiscal sponsor or asks for a cash match.
