The application letter should be introduced with a brief summary that sets forth the exact amount requested, an explanation of the need for the subject of the grant, and the objectives to be achieved. 2. The application should provide financial information, including a budget for the project to be assisted by the grant. 3. The application should state whether a grant for the same or similar purpose is presently being sought from other foundations or other sources and if so, which ones. 4. The application should include current financial information about the applicant and proof of the applicants current tax-exempt status.
