- Application materials
- The program offers awards to Massachusetts public schools to provide food and nutrition relief. Applications can be submitted online through the Foundation's website at: https://eosfoundation.org/launch-grants-technical-assistance/ Applicants should be prepared to provide the following information: - Name and contact information of school district. - Enrollment statistics, including class sizes and breakfast and lunch participation rates. - Identified barriers to food security for students. - Goals and plans for any awarded funding.
- Restrictions
- Eos provides technical assistance and BIC grant awards of $20,000 to eligible Massachusetts public schools and public charter schools. Districts can request district-wide grants. Schools we fund are asked to set a goal for 80% breakfast participation via their BIC delivery model for two reasons: (1) to meet the nutritional needs of children from low-income households, and (2) to support nutrition department operations and its bottom line. Our funds can be used for equipment and operational costs as well as incentives to help the school culture embrace BIC programming.

About this data
Figures are aggregated from Eos Foundation's IRS Form 990-PF electronic filings (2 filings on file, most recent tax year 2024). Totals reflect grants the foundation reported as paid, and can lag the current year because foundations file annually and often on extension. Source: IRS 990-PF e-file archive.
