- The Foundation will consider funding grants to established organizations serving individuals in North Carolina and South Carolina which have qualified for exemption as public charities under section 501(c)(3) or the IRS code, governmental units, and established churches fitting the foundation's mission. The foundation does not provide grants to foreign organizations, individuals or 509(a)(3) supporting organizations
