Application materials
A grant applicant creates an account in the online grants management system, and then logs on to that account to start a new grant application. The system allows an application to be saved as a draft. This draft can be worked on and edited numerous times before submitting the final application for review. Each account maintains a record of the application history that the applicant can access at any time. Information requested includes: listing of board of directors, organization budget, statement of activities, most recent form 990 filing.
Restrictions
No grants to individuals. No fundraising events, no projects primarily seeking to influence elections or legislation, no organization without qualified tax status designation that are using another non-profit organization as a fiscal or umbrella agent. Grants are awarded to smaller non-profit organizations; most often to groups with social service, arts and culture, educational, environmental and/or youth-centered missions and directly serving residents of oregon or southwest washington.
