Application materials

Applications and grant guidelines are available from the foundation. See the website for more information www.ajlfoundation.org. The first step in the application process is to fill out the LOI survey and submit to the foundation. Staff will review and provide the information to the grantmaking committee for review. If approved to submit an application by the committee, an application will be requested. Application materials to include organization information (name, mission, contact information), geographic areas and communities served, programs description, evaluation methods, current year budget and previous 3 years of financials (audited preferred).

Restrictions

The ajl charitable foundation supports activities in the following areas: education and humanitarian services . Eligibility: the foundation makes grants only to tax-exempt organizations with 501(c) classifications from the internal revenue service. . The foundation does not make grants for research projects or give support to conferences, seminars, media events, or workshops unless they are an integral part of a broader program. The foundation does not provide support for the production and development of television and radio programming.
