- Organizations must be recognized by and registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Ineligible Recipient Organizations: - Political, fraternal and professional organizations - Religious organizations (churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship), or other organizations primarily promoting religious purposes - Organizations that support pro-life or pro-choice issues - Private foundations, donor advised funds and supporting organizations - Government agencies - Individual schools and their foundations - Individuals including scholarship programs - Organizations that do not comply with nVent's Supplier Code of Conduct policy or Global Human Rights policies - Organizations that do not comply with the USA Patriot Act (or other applicable anti-terrorism rules/laws) Grantees will be asked to complete a progress report one year after a grant is awarded.
