- APPLICANT SUBMITS AN ONLINE GENERAL INQUIRY FORM. FUND STAFF INITIATES A CONVERSATION WITH THE APPLICANT TO LEARN ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION. IF AN INVITATION IS EXTENDED, STAFF WILL INCLUDE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDANCE ON THE REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS, METHOD OF SUBMISSION, AND A SUBMISSION DEADLINE. ALL GRANT DECISIONS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. BOARD MEETINGS ARE HELD FOUR TIMES PER YEAR, GENERALLY IN MARCH, JUNE, SEPTEMBER AND DECEMBER. APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THE BOARD'S DECISION BY PHONE OR EMAIL WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THE MEETING AT WHICH THE APPLICATION WAS CONSIDERED.

- IN AN EFFORT TO UTILIZE ITS LIMITED RESOURCES WISELY AND BECAUSE IT RECEIVES MORE REQUESTS THAT IT CAN SUPPORT, MCGREGOR FUND ADHERES TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR ITS GRANTMAKING ACTIVITIES: THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA OF THE FUND IS LIMITED PRINCIPALLY TO THE DETROIT METROPOLITAN AREA, WHICH IS DEFINED AS WAYNE, OAKLAND AND MACOMB COUNTIES. FUNDING IS LIMITED TO THE AREAS OF INTEREST OF THE FUND WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.MCGREGORFUND.ORG. ALL GRANT DECISIONS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. TRUSTEE MEETINGS ARE SCHEDULED FOUR TIMES PER YEAR, GENERALLY IN MARCH, JUNE, SEPTEMBER, AND DECEMBER. THE FUND DOES NOT: PROVIDE LOANS, MAKE DIRECT GRANTS TO STUDENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS OR SPONSOR EVENTS.
