- Application materials
- Applications are submitted via Jerome Foundation's online application platform through Submittable. Applications must be submitted online in accordance with published deadlines, guidelines, and staff instructions. Application forms for publicly announced grant programs are accessible at www.jeromefdn.org. Invite-only applications forms are provided by links shared with applicants by staff. Applications typically require answers to narrative questions, financial information about program costs/ organizational budgets or individual budgets, alignment with review criteria (which are clearly stated and explained in the grant guidelines and include information about the program or project, the feasibility of the proposed activity(ies), and the impact that the applicant's work will have on the artist(s), their community(ies) and/or their art form(s)). Organization applicants must provide documentation of 501(c)(3) status or apply via with a fiscal sponsor that has 501(c)(3) status.
- Restrictions
- Jerome Foundation support is limited to artists and arts organizations based in Minnesota and New York City. The Foundation is focused on support to early career generative artists and serves multiple artistic fields. All organization and individual grant programs, excepting the Jerome@Camargo program, solicit applications through an open call as described in guidelines published for each program. Jerome@Camargo program applications are by invitation only and are limited to artists who have received prior direct support from the Jerome Foundation during the previous five years. A small additional number of grants support national arts service and philanthropic organizations for special convenings or one-time conferences, research, field-building initiatives, and ongoing services and/or activities that will be conducted in New York City or MN, that will serve, engage and impact artists, organizations and/or arts grantmakers in New York or Minnesota.
