- THE FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY FOCUSED ON TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED HEALTHY LIVING WITH THE MESSAGE OF "HEALTHY LIVING TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING" - FOR INDIVIDUALS AND THEREFORE FOR THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, LEVERAGING E-HEALTH AND MOBILE TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE THESE EFFORTS. IHF IS CONCENTRATING ON TWO SEGMENTS OF ITS COMMUNITY: OLDER ADULTS AND MILITARY VETERANS. THE IHF BOARD DECIDED TO END GRANTMAKING ACTIVITIES AND WILL DISBURSE ITS ENDOWMENT OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS. THE FOUNDATION HAS IDENTIFIED GRANT RECIPIENTS TO RECEIVE THE FUNDS. THE FINAL GRANTS WILL BE CONSISTENT WITH IHF'S 37 YEARS OF GRANTMAKING AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP. IHF PROACTIVELY DEVELOPED THE FINAL GRANTS IN COLLABORATION WITH GRANT RECIPIENTS. THE FINAL GRANTS WILL BE DIRECTED TOWARD DEVELOPING AND MAXIMIZING METHODOLOGIES TO IMPROVE HEALTH IN THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE, AND WILL HAVE LONG-LASTING BENEFIT TO THE PEOPLE OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
