Grant application rounds (e.g., multi-year strategic sustainability, general operating support, capacity building, and small grant rounds) are advertised on the foundation's website along with the grant calender. The foudnation also reviews emerging needs applications on a rolling basis. These requests are submitted via the foundation's online system as well.

The foundation considers grants to 501(c)(3) healthcare nonprofits that are based in montgomery county, maryland, or to nonprofits that have county-based health programs or activities.
