There is currently no set format for applications. Requests should include the following (1) most recent form 990, (2) most recent copy of audited or reviewed financial statements, (3) information regarding the activities of the charity, and (4) description of funding being requested.

Restrictions

The trust document specifies that the trust assets be used to make charitable distributions only to entities that qualify as a "qualified charitable recipient" meaning an entity that is described in code section 170(c), 2055(a) and 2522(a). In the case of any distribution to a charitable receipient described in code section 170(c)(1), the distribution shall be made for exclusively public purposes. The trust document specifies that the trust assets be used primarily for christian evangelism, christian missions, christian discipleship, and the teaching of the gospel of jesus christ, including to organizations that serve as witness to the teachings of jesus christ, with the goal being to primarily benefit christian children's homes.
