The Community Foundation of Shelby County Grants

Amazon is partnering with the Foundation to provide $100,000 in total Community Grants. This is the overall pool, not a per-grant amount. Applicants may request $500 to $10,000. Grants must show measurable outcomes in one of these focus areas: Education/STEM, Sustainability/Environment, Health and Wellness, Social Cohesion, Culture/Heritage, STEM/Workforce, Hunger/Homelessness, or Emergency Services. Grant determinations are made Friday, November 13, 2026. Eligible applicants: Open to all Shelby County organizations holding a qualifying status with the IRS (501c3, religious organizations, and government entities).; Requesting organization will have obtained an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status or is a government entity.; Funds will be utilized within the geographic boundaries of Shelby County, Ohio and ideally will benefit a wide range of residents living within the county.; Grant requests must be from $500 to $10,000.; Grants will only fund the focus areas in the Guidelines: Education/STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math); Sustainability/Environment; Health and Wellness; Social Cohesion; Culture/Heritage; STEM/Workforce; Hunger/Homelessness; Emergency Services.; Grants must demonstrate measurable outcomes in the focus areas.; Excludes general support.; Excludes individuals.; Excludes political organizations.; Excludes endowments.; Excludes scientific or medical research.; Excludes annual fundraising campaigns.; Grants should not duplicate current services.; Grant requests should include a reasonable plan for obtaining continued financial support from internal or external sources once the Amazon Shelby County Community Fund grant monies are expended.; Grants MUST be completed within one year and a final report is mandatory.; Someone from the organization must attend the Grant Celebration to accept the award..
