Akron Community Foundation Grants

Advance Summit County women and girls, with current funding priorities of health and wellness, safety from violence, and economic empowerment. Eligible applicants: Approved 501(c)(3) organizations may register; registration requires organizational information and an EIN.; Applicants using a fiscal sponsor must review the required fiscal-sponsor information; applicants without 501(c)(3) public-charity status must identify their fiscal agent.; First-time applicants must complete the Tell Us About Your Program form before applying, including first and last name, email, organization, grant request amount and planned funding cycle. Organizations seeking funding for a new program should also tell the foundation about it.; Applicants must review the relevant application questions and observe the specified response word limits.; Approved grantees must submit a signed agreement online before requesting payment.; Grantees have two years from the award to request and use funds and must wait one year before applying for another grant from the same fund. Declined applicants may apply again at any time.; After using grant funding, grantees must submit required progress reports through the online system.. Geography served: Summit County.
