San Bernardino County Community Development and Housing (CDH) Department is now accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Program Year 2027–2028. Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM (PST) on October 15, 2026. Eligible applicants include participating cities, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and qualified for-profits (economic development only). Projects must meet a HUD National Objective, align with the County’s Consolidated Plan priorities, and be completed within required timelines (10 months for public services; 18 months for construction). Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. The County anticipates approximately $2.1 million in funding to support capital improvements and public service projects that benefit residents in the County’s unincorporated communities. Submission Information Application Deadline: Thursday, October 15th, at 4:00 PM (PST) Please submit one application per project via Submittable by the stated deadline.
