United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties Inc Grants

Single general application for local nonprofits and their programs, used to match applicants with all open, appropriate CF/UWVFC funding opportunities from a variety of philanthropic sources; project/program funding or operating support for grants awarded July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Request range for this fiscal year is $1,000 to $5,000, though grants smaller or larger may be made in accordance with strategic priorities (median similar award in 2024-2025 was $3,184). Applications accepted continuously with quarterly consideration deadlines. Eligible applicants: Open to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations serving Volusia and/or Flagler residents, including newer and smaller organizations; Each eligible nonprofit may submit one application per fiscal year, for either project/program funding or operating support; the submitted application may be amended if funding priorities change while it is active; If targeted funding (such as disaster relief) becomes available, the one-application limit may be waived; Organizations whose service areas reach beyond Volusia and Flagler may apply only for project/program funding, which must be used in the two-county area; Religious organizations may apply only for project/program funding, which must be used for non-sectarian purposes; Requested amount must be between $1,000 and $5,000 (actual awards may vary from this range); Required attachments: recent IRS W-9 signed and dated within the past six months; Board of Directors roster; financial audit or reviewed financial statements from the most recent fiscal year, or a recent Statement of Financial Position and Income Statement (audit not required); Anti-Terrorism Compliance Measures form signed and dated within the last six months; Project/program requests require a project summary and one-sheet budget summary; operating support requests require a primary grant purpose ('We will use this grant ...') and a one-sheet operating budget summary; Funded organizations must submit a brief impact report via the portal within six months of the award date; Applicant must affirm the organization complies with applicable state and federal laws, including Civil Rights laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act; Applicants must create an account in the CF/UWVFC Grants Portal to apply; This application is not for the Community Impact cycle.
