Program/project funding for nonprofit organizations serving Steele County. Applications are reviewed at the monthly Strategic Impact Committee meeting. United Way of Steele County funds programs, not organizations. No award amounts are published. Eligible applicants: Nonprofit organizations serving Steele County; Organizations must complete the application and a logic model (one file attachment); United Way of Steele County funds programs, not organizations; Does not fund religious instruction; Does not provide capital funds; Does not provide general operating funds; operating expenses required to facilitate the program may be included in the program budget; Application must describe the organization's mission and purpose, and state whether it is a 501c3 and its EIN number; Application must describe the need being addressed, how the need was determined (with data), and how the solution aligns with United Way of Steele County's outcomes; Application must describe the program/project, the population served, proposed activities and anticipated measurable outcomes; Application must state the program budget, the amount requested from United Way, and how any additional funds will be secured; Application must state whether this is a short-term need or a long-term endeavor, and the vision for sustaining a long-term program.
